Transparent Watercolors?
Painting with very diluted transparent watercolor pigments that
are thinly layered
till
desired color and value are achieved. This technique allows
light to pass
through
to the paper, reflecting back to the viewer, for a
luminous effect.
All whites are carefully preserved as there is no use of
white paint. Pencil is used only for planning marks
with paintings
executed on a single piece of untreated watercolor
paper.
